Dan at Valish Heating and Cooling was excellent! We had an issue with our Air Conditioner, it had a leak. Instead of persisting that we buy a new unit, he took the time to check the whole unit and found the leak, added more refrigerant and fixed the leak!! I would recommend this company!

2023: Today had to call them out for a last minute emergency and Dan came when he said he would. The largest company in Akron turned us away as they didn't have any technicians for a boiler, but I'll stay with Vallish now for sure! Thanks for helping us out!

Matt Vallish came out and inspected our mini-split unit which had been installed incorrectly by previous contractors, and was running incorrectly because of their errors. He was professional, HIGHLY knowledgeable, and fair. My best friend happened to be visiting during his appointment and said he had just installed their system and had nothing but amazing things to say as well. I will definitely be using Vallish Heating & A/C for ALL of our HVAC service needs from now on!

Hands down the best HVAC company I’ve ever worked with. We bought a 92 year old house and needed to add HVAC to half of it.
Dan came out and assessed the situation and recommended we go with traditional HVAC as opposed to a ductless mini-split system. He then proceeded to design and custom build an entire system for our home.
He has incredible attention to detail and was also kind enough to help us deal with some issues we had with another HVAC company.
I will never trust the work on my HVAC to any other company besides Vallish - the absolute best!!

Fabulous work! I can't say enough about how pleased I am with this company. I was given the name of this company from a friend who had used them before. I got a quick reply from Dan. He called 30 minutes before showing up, showed up on time and went straight to work. He diagnosed the problem quickly. He replaced a starter and fan on my 32 year old Train air conditioning unit. He had the parts in his truck! He was done from start to finish in under one hour. I had some other company come out the 2 days before. He just sat and listened for the unit to make 'the noise' again. The technician did absolutely nothing with the A/C unit the first day. I had more trouble after I returned from work the 2nd day, called them back and they wanted to reschedule me for another day! I had already taken off work early the first day to meet them, who didn't show up until 1.5 hours after they were scheduled. The same tech came out. DId nothing again - meaning he did NOT even touch my air conditioning unit and told me that it was the compressor. I asked him how he knew that without even opening the unit or using any gauges. Unbelievable. I will always come back to Vallish and highly recommend them to ALL my friends! Thanks again Dan!

I live in a 90-year-old home. I had one air conditioning installer tell me that my home would be too difficult to install AC and opted out. I had others quote extremely high prices due to the layout of my home (no duct work, currently have a boiler system, had addition added to the home). But Matt Vallish came in and did a thorough assessment of the house and had some creative ideas for installing an AC system. The system that he installed looks great. He was timely and offered a very fair price. I've had the units in my house now for almost a year and everything works well.

We have had wonderful experiences with Matt Vallish after hiring them for a furnace tune up and some subsequent repairs. We had an issue about a month later where the heat went out from no fault of their own. The answering service and return phone call from Matt was prompt and he was able to come out and restore heat within an hour. We will only be using them from now on!

I had the pleasure of using Vallish Heating and Cooling this week when my air conditioner stopped cooling. They came out quickly, on time, and diagnosed my faulty coil right away. It was going to take 2 weeks for a new one due to a national shortage. After putting in more coolant, my air conditioner wasn’t working again 2 days later. I let Vallish know and they pulled strings to get one right away. All at a very reasonable price. They are fantastic!

I highly recommend Vallish. Matt came out to do a tuneup on our furnace prior to the winter season. As a new homeowner I had a lot of very general questions regarding basic maintenance and what to expect from our heating and cooling systems. He was extremely knowledgeable and most of all honest and genuinely helpful. He even looked over, "spruced up" and talked me through our not-yet-used gas fireplace, which is just going above and beyond in terms of customer service. All at a very fair price. It was the best experience I have had having someone out to do any work at our home.

Our a/c tripped our breaker and we couldn’t get it to turn back on and we had another company come out to take a look. They said we needed a new unit to the tune of $8,000 and should probably get a new furnace as well (total of 13K). Called Vallish for a second opinion. Dan came out that evening and did a thorough inspection. He said our a/c and furnace was fine and we should get at least another 5 years out of it (was only 15 yrs old). Dan was extremely helpful and was patient with all my questions. He showed me exactly what he was checking. Didn’t try to sell us anything. Will definitely use again and would recommend to anyone.

I called Vallish and I received a call back from one of their techs within an hour. I was able to get a same day appointment and the tech stopped out a few hours later. He quickly diagnosed the problem on the first try and explained everything he was doing and why he was doing it. Vallish fixed everything in about an hour and now I have a working AC unit.

Called several places for estimates before and friend recommended Vallish. Dan was out in a very short time to look at my work (New A/C installation) went over wiring, unit, draining even educated me on difference between models. Personable, knowledgeable and just a good person. I gave him the option of doing the job in a way that would have been easier for him but less aesthetically pleasing but he went the extra effort to make it look good. Cleaned up afterwards like nothing ever happened!! Not a shred of paper or footprint! The pricing very fair, say what they mean and mean what they say. Priceless. I couldn't be happier!! I have had an issue for the last 2 weeks where my thermostat said the heat was on but the furnace was not coming on and providing heat. I had a feeling the thermostat was bad as I could change the batteries and reset the thermostat and it would come on and run for a time and then do the same thing of not turning on the furnace. I contacted a well known company to come out and diagnose the problem and they cleaned the flame sensor but did not check the thermostat. Three days later the same thing happened so I contacted the same company and when they came out they could not find a problem but told me to check if I was getting any fault codes and if not the thermostat was probably bad. At this point I decided to look on our Nextdoor website for our neighborhood and found that Vallish was highly recommended so I contacted them yesterday and Matt came out this morning (on his day off) and tested and checked everything and sure enough the thermostat was bad. I had also mentioned the size of my existing thermostat and he immediately knew I must have wall paper behind it that I wanted covered up and said he would have a wall plate that would cover it. He installed the new wall plate and thermostat and everything works perfect. They were also almost half the price I had been quoted from the other company. I am glad the other provider didn't take the time to test my thermostat otherwise I would have not had the pleasure of meeting Matt and having a new great HVAC provider. Thanks so much. Looking forward to a new furnace and AC unit when needed.
